Mrs. Lisa joined Kinder Haus in February of 2000 as the Office Manager. She has been happily married to her husband since 1987 and has two children, Lauren and Ryan, who are currently enrolled at LSU. Besides being a “Tiger Mom,” Mrs. Lisa volunteers at her church and has been involved in Prison Ministry for several years.

Prior to joining Kinder Haus, Mrs. Lisa worked at St. Andrews United Methodist Preschool in Baton Rouge and for a marketing company in Mandeville. In 2002, Mrs. Lisa was promoted from Office Manager to Directress.  To further her professional development, Mrs. Lisa became Montessori Certified in January 2003.

Mrs. Lisa works closely with the staff and teachers to create an environment where children, parents and staff reach their full potential.

Sharon Roberg
Administrative Assistant and Staff Development

Ms. Sharon started with Kinder Haus in August of 2003. Ms. Sharon brings many years of experience with her to Kinder Haus. She first became intrigued with Montessori education when her two oldest children attended a Montessori school. She fell so in love with the Montessori method of learning that she enrolled in the A.M.I. training program. She received her certification in 1981. Ms. Sharon taught in a Montessori school outside of Chicago. We are blessed to have her as a part of our Kinder Haus family. Your children will greatly benefit with the knowledge and experience she brings to their Montessori class.

Marla Altom
Cook

Ms. Marla joined the staff of Kinder Haus in November of 2010. Prior to joining Kinder Haus Montessori, Ms. Marla had worked at Northlake Christian Preschool and YMCA Preschool. Much of her experience is “hands on,” as she has four children of her own. Ms. Marla received her Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Nunez Community College. Ms. Marla is excited to expand our menu and to provide healthy and nutritious snacks and lunches for the children of Kinder Haus Montessori.
