Metairie Administrative and Support Team

Cassie Becerra
Director

Ms. Cassie was previously part of the Kinder Haus Family from 2001-2007. She returned in June 2014 and will be part of the office support staff. She has her Montessori Certification for children birth-three and is working on completing a degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Her personal vision at Kinder Haus is to help foster an environment that is warm, peaceful and nurturing to parents, children and staff.

Angela Perret
Office Manager

Ms. Angela began working at Kinder Haus in November 2012. Her two children also attend Kinder Haus. Originally from Texas, she moved to Metairie in the summer of 2010, because her husband got a job in his hometown, New Orleans. She has a background in accounting, sales and teaching, making a perfect fit for her work in the front office. She’s always enjoyed working with children; her first jobs were babysitting for family and neighbors, and her last job before becoming a stay-at-home mom was being a 5th grade teacher. She has a Marketing Degree from Texas Christian University, with a minor in Japanese. After taking 2 ½ years off to be at home with her babies , she’s glad to be back at work part-time, which gives her the flexibility to still have some play time with her children. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, reading, and traveling.

Erika Davis
Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Erika joined the Kinder Haus Family in 2003. She has worn many hats at Kinder Haus; she worked as a substitute teacher, our cook, a Preschool Team Member and the Afternoon Team Leader! We are so excited that fate has brought Mrs. Erika back around to our door step! Mrs. Erika has a love for children and science! She just graduated with an Associate of Applied Science and Majored in Health Information Technology. She believes that good teachers who are compassionate, dedicated, intelligent, innovative and creative make a successful child care program.

Ms. Jeanette also has a passion for cooking and baking and is currently sharing that passion with us daily as she prepares all of the children’s meals throughout the day!

Nicole Laudun
Substitute Directress' Assistant

Ms. Nicole supports all three of our classes each morning. She is dedicated to touching lives in a positive way! Ms. Nicole believes that the purpose of education is to help each child grow to their fullest potential and we agree! Ms. Nicole feels, “Students should be guided through independent hands on activities that prepare them to be lifelong learners and leaders of the community. A variety of learning styles should be utilized to support social, emotional and educational needs. A successful child care program is one that treats both teachers and students with mutual respect that helps each child feel lovable and capable. My art education and joy of gardening help make hand on learning fun!"
