2011-2012 School Year Calendar
Monday, August 8th First day of school for Toddler, Preschool and PreK/K
NOTE: PreK/K—only those children who attended for the 2010/2011 school year attend on Monday (8/8). Only the new children to the class attend on Tues. and Wed. (8/9 & 8/10). All children in PreK/K attend on Thurs. and Fri. (8/11 & 8/12).
September 6th Closed—Labor Day
Thursday, Sept. 8 6:30-7:45 p.m: OPEN HOUSE AND PARENT MEETING FOR ALL CLASSES
September 30th Parish Fair Holiday. Parent/Teacher Conferences for all classes. School is closed.
NOTE: PreK/K - conference will be for children who were in the PreK/K class the previous year
Thursday, Oct. 13th Parent/Teacher Conferences for PreK/K children who are new to the classroom this year. School is in session.
Wed. Oct. 26th Picture Day for children
October 28 Kinder Haus’ Annual Fall Fest
November 18th Taste of Thanksgiving at 11:00 a.m. Parents are invited to have lunch with their children.
November 21, 22, 23 Extended Care Students Only (Reservations required) *
November 24 & 25 Closed – Thanksgiving Holiday
December Adopt a Family Community Project
December 16th Christmas Sing-A-Long at 2:00 p.m.

Jan. 3, 2011 School Resumes
Monday, Jan. 16 Parent/Teacher Conferences for Toddler and Preschool - School is closed to students. PreK/K Open House to observe student's working in class from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30.
Feb. 10th and Feb. 17th Close at 5:00 due to Mardi Gras parades
Feb. 20, 21, 22 Closed for Mardi Gras Holidays
Feb. 23 & 24th Extended Care Students Only (Reservations required)*
March 6th & March 8th PreK/Kindergarten Parent/Teacher Conferences. School is in session on these days.
April 2nd - 5th Extended Care Students Only (Reservations required)*
April 6th - 9th School Closed for all students Good Friday and Monday after Easter
Friday, May 11th Mother's Day Social
May 17 (Thursday) Last day of 2011-2012 school year
May 18 (Friday) Kinder Haus’ Annual Peace Party
May 24th First day of Summer Camp 2012

* Montessori Class Holiday – Child care by reservation – Extended Care students (6:30 – 6:00 Monday through Friday) may attend for child-care. Reservations will be required at least two weeks in advance. We will staff according to reservations.
